Description
It just doesn’t get any whiter than ‘Delaware Valley White’, a spectacular hybrid evergreen azalea that produces LOADS of large, funnel-shaped, pure pristine white flowers in spring that nearly cover the attractive green foliage. Each large flower has 10 stamens! While the hybridization is unknown, some say this cultivar is a Glenn Dale Hybrid. Whatever the parentage, this stunner is one you’ll always look forward to seeing it bloom in spring!
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing to 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, Delaware Valley White Azalea is a perfect choice for groupings, mass plantings, low hedges or an accent in partially shaded landscape borders, woodland gardens, and home foundation plantings. Butterflies love the flowers, and blooming branches serve very well for cutting to create stunning indoor floral arrangements.

Growing Preferences
Evergreen Azaleas are very easy to grow when planted right and in the right spot. They prefer a moist but well-drained and acidic soil that is rich in organic matter and part sun. Morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun is ideal. Evening sun is fine. Good drought tolerance when established.
